  • Dec 21 1942 G Katherine Cornell, Judith Anderson and Ruth Gordon. (cover is in nice shape, however insides do exhibit some moisture damage). $10.00


1943

As we move through 1943, two things become apparant, the TIME issues get thinner and the quality of the paper used by TIME to put the magazine together drops. It goes from a glossy type white paper, to newsprint. -- due to wartime circumstances.

  • April 5 1943 FN (has stamp on cover near "T" in Time) Sir Thomas Beecham $30.00

  • Apr 19 1943 VG President Avila Camacho of Mexico
    inside: Frank Shuster and CWACs 1pg/Rommel, Montgomery. $30.00

  • April 26 1943 VG (small stain on cover) Bricker ofthe Buckeye State
    inside: Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus / $30.00


Canadian edition starts up around this time, but there's no real difference, maybe the odd Canadian ad, and they've placed a Maple Leaf on the cover to designate it as the Canadian edition but that's it for the issues below, however the some of my issues from 1944 do contain one to two pages of Canada at war.
